Research process

Separate the source
from the interpretation.

Useful aggregation requires more than collecting pages. WINPICK keeps source facts, normalized fields, calculated views and editorial conclusions distinct.

01

Identify the primary source

Prefer governing bodies, official records and original publishers over copied summaries.

02

Preserve source wording

Keep material brand and model wording intact while normalizing whitespace, dates and searchable fields.

03

Deduplicate carefully

Merge exact or well-supported duplicates without inventing relationships between similar names.

04

Calculate transparently

Label counts and trends as calculations from a dated snapshot, not sales, market share or popularity.

05

Publish limitations

State lag, missing-field and eligibility limits beside the resource rather than hiding them in fine print.

06

Correct with evidence

Record requests, verify primary evidence and update, annotate, merge or remove as appropriate.
