Pickleball paddle QC checklist for bulk orders
The inspection plan should prove that production matches the approved construction—not merely that the paddles look acceptable.
Documents at the inspection station
Provide the signed golden sample, current specification, approved artwork, bill of materials, purchase order, packaging standard and sampling plan.
Identity and construction
- Correct model, revision, face material, core and thickness.
- Approved shape, edge system, handle construction and grip.
- Permanent brand and model identification matches artwork.
Dimensions, weight and balance
Use calibrated tools and agreed sample sizes. Record actual values for overall length and width, thickness, handle and grip dimensions, finished weight and balance point where specified.
Workmanship and durability signals
Check face finish, print, edge fit, gaps, dents, contamination, rattles, loose caps, grip wrap and visible bonding issues. Add defined tap, flex, impact or adhesion checks only when the method and acceptance criteria are documented.
Packaging and release
Verify covers, labels, barcode, instructions, retail box, carton quantity, marks and protection. Any defect report should identify severity, quantity, evidence, corrective action and who can release the shipment.
